Very thought provoking analysis, Danielle! I like that parallel you brought up between the masks, fatherhood, and legacy which makes Star Wars so memorable - and the Mandalorian in particular for a recent example. It's these universal themes (and ones similar) that a very vital to a story to connect with a wide audience, whether young or old, and especially bring to light our own greatest personal desires as mortal beings when it comes to finding meaning in life. Even ones not necessarily inspired from a fully religious perspective (or in Star Wars's case, a variety of religious perspectives) can be impactful in the same way. Can't wait to read your future analyses and other posts like the previous ones you have in store! :D
